Just a few months later than the Redmi Note 6 Pro, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which can become a benchmark in the affordable Android smartphone space giving a big boost to the Note lineup in the photography performance. Yes, the Redmi Note 7 Pro makes an attractive specification sheet boasting a 48-megapixel rear facing the camera.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro packs a 6.3-inch(2340 x 1080 ) LTPS display resolution. There is the dewdrop notch as well. LTPS isn’t your standard LCD display. It offers better refresh rates, which is great news for visuals and fast-moving content.

The device rocks the new 2.0 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 675(11 nm) Processor. This Processor on the Redmi Note 7 Pro seems to be a class apart. It’s using the same CPU architecture as the Snapdragon 855 and has an ISP that supports the 48MP camera. A 4GB of RAM & Adreno 612 graphics processor ensures phone would run smoothly even the most memory intensive applications. The device also packs 64 GB of internal storage can be expanded to 256 GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the optics, which is the main USP of the device, the Redmi Note 7 Pro packs a dual camera setup on the back that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.79 lens and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor. There are a number of artificial intelligence (AI) powered features in the camera app of the phone, including AI scene detection, AI Portrait 2.0, and Night mode. Additionally, there is a 13-megapixel front shooter on the phone as well as support for 4K video recording on the rear camera.

The device also rocks a 4,000mAh battery along with Qualcomm QuickCharge 4 technology and Gorilla Glass 5 protection up front and at the back as well.

The Snapdragon 675-powered Redmi Note 7 Pro is surely a disruptive offering in the mid-range segment. It will be available in two variants. There is the 4GB+64GB option that is priced at Rs 13,999 while you can also pick the potentially more versatile 6GB + 128GB option for Rs 16,999. Both these options are available in a widely acceptable Space Black colour, a snazzy Nebula Red and a super classy Neptune Blue.
