In a stagnant market where people just don’t feel the need to always have the latest smartphone, Samsung is really focusing on expanding its budget options. Samsung has already launched numerous smartphones under its new and popular Galaxy M and Galaxy A series.
It seems like the South Korean smartphone maker is now working on yet another budget device dubbed Samsung Galaxy M40. If a recent report is to be believed, then Samsung Galaxy M40 is going to be the company’s most expensive M-series smartphone.
As per the report by IANS, Samsung Galaxy M40 will launch in India with a price tag of around INR 25,000. This makes it the most expensive M-series device with the latest Galaxy M30 available for INR 17,990. We’re expecting Samsung to launch this smartphone somewhere in the next month i.e. June.

What makes Galaxy M40 truly great is its display – it comes with an Infinity-O punch hole display which is only found in S10 series for now. This makes the M40 the first budget phone with the highest screen to body ratio. A higher version may also be launched after the original phone featuring an AMOLED display. Like the other M-series phone from Samsung, the Galaxy M40 is also expected to be available for purchase exclusively through online channels in India.
