After much leaks and rumours, Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme finally announced its much awaiting Realme 3 Pro smartphone in the Indian market. Although the device has already been leaked in all of its glory, today’s official unveiling gives us information on pricing, availability and specifications in detail.
Realme 3 Pro, the successor to previous Realme 2 Pro, has been improved in pretty much all the aspects including performance and cameras. Some of the key highlights include Snapdragon 710 SoC, VOOC 3.0 fast charging tech, 25MP selfie camera and the same camera sensor that is employed in OnePlus 6T.
Realme 3 Pro Price in India, First Sale and Launch Offers
The recently launched Realme 3 Pro directly competes with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. As expected, the brand went with the competitive pricing with base variant costing you INR 13,999. Realme 3 Pro base variant comes with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the high-end variant packs in 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard memory and is priced at INR 16,999.
Realme 3 Pro will be up for grabs exclusively from Flipkart starting from April 29, 2019, at 12 PM. The phone will be available in three colours: Carbon Grey, Nitro Blue, and Lightning Purple. Realme has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer flat Rs. 1,000 discount. On top of this, Reliance Jio is offering benefits worth Rs. 5,300.
Realme 3 Pro Full Specifications, Features
Realme 3 Pro comes with a massive 6.3-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a dewdrop notch, 400 nits brightness and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. For an added protection, there is a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. When it comes to the design, the device looks fairly similar to its younger sibling Realme 3. The entire phone is made up of the Plastic material which is modified to look premium. Realme is touting the “Double Waistline Design” which claims to improve your in-hand grip. At the rear, there’s an S-shaped unique pattern that changes colors based on light reflection and refraction.
The successor to the Realme 2 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with Adreno 616 GPU, up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard memory. The device also comes with a dedicated micro sd slot for the memory expansion. In terms of optics, the Realme 3 Pro sports a dual camera setup at the back having 16MP+5MP sensors with a single 25MP front-facing selfie camera. The primary 16MP camera sensor used in the Realme 3 Pro is the same one which can be found in much expensive OnePlus 6T. The device can record 4k videos at 30 frames per second. There’s a special camera mode that allows you to click 64MP shots.
All of this is fueled by a massive 4,045 mAh battery which also supports VOOC 3.0 Fast Charging. You can charge the device entirely within in an hour using the bundled 20W VOOC 3.0 charger. Realme 3 Pro runs on the latest version of Android i.e. Android 9.0 Pie on top of the company’s very own Color OS skin. Other specifications include Bluetooth 5.0, Micro USB port, dual SIM card support and 3.5-mm headphone jack.
