Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme is all set to introduce its next-gen budget smartphone dubbed Realme 3 Pro in the Indian market. The Realme 3 Pro’s official launch event is set for Monday, April 22 i.e. Today. Realme 3 Pro has shared a huge chunk of news this week thanks to the endless leaks and bits of information from the CEO Madhab Sheth himself.

Realme 3 Pro Launch Event Details
Recently, Realme’s CEO Madhav Sheth tweeted on the Realme 3 Pro event revealing the date and venue for the launch. As mentioned earlier, the device is going to see its official unveiling on April 22 at Delhi University Stadium.
Realme 3 Pro is going to be a Flipkart exclusive smartphone. The first sale date will be announced tomorrow during the official launch itself.
Realme 3 Pro: Expected Price, Storage Variants
Realme 3 Pro is expected to come with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory unlike its predecessor Realme 2 pro which packs up to 8GB of RAM. We’re expecting two different storage variants of the device – 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB memory options.
Since the company is eyeing to create a competition in the budget segment especially against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, we can expect aggressive pricing of around INR 14,000 for the base variant. The top-end variant, on the other hand, might hit the INR 18,000 price tag.
Realme 3 Pro Full Specifications Leaked
One of the biggest leak surrounding the upcoming Realme 3 Pro is coming from a YouTube channel which goes by the name of Tech Bar. Surprisingly, the owner of the channel accidentally posted the entire hands-on video before the official launch. Fortunately for us, the video just leaked the handset in all of its glory.
As per the video, Realme 3 Pro is going to feature a massive 6.3-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. For the added protection, the smartphone comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with Adreno 616 GPU. In terms of optics, Realme 3 Pro packs dual camera setup at the back having a 12MP primary and 5MP secondary sensor.
For selfies, the device boasts a 25MP front snapper inside the notch. Other specifications include 3.5-mm headphone jack, Micro USB (sadly), Android 9 Pie on top of Color OS 6.0. All of this runs on a massive 4,045 mAh battery which supports fast charging technology as well.
Realme 3 Pro Camera’s Ultra HD Mode Details
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme, recently commented on the device’s Ultra HD Mode. As per the tweet, users will be able to capture 64MP shots, likely using pixel binning. On top of that, Realme 3 Pro is touted to be the first budget smartphone to support Fortnite game out-of-the-box. If you’re unaware, currently only the high-end devices can run Fortnite seamlessly.
