OnePlus 7 Pro to come with triple cameras, confirmed officially

OnePlus is currently working on its next-gen flagship smartphone to be called OnePlus 7. We’re already aware of the fact that OnePlus 7 is going to arrive in two variants – regular OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Both the smartphones will see its official unveiling in India on May 14.

A couple of hours ago, OnePlus officially confirmed the existence of triple camera setup at the back on the pro variant.

OnePlus recently posted a 10-second video clip on its official Twitter account revealing the official launch date of the device. In addition, the video talks about the key outline of the OnePlus 7 smartphone which according to the video happens to be the addition of triple rear cameras.

The video includes the tag #OnePlus7Pro which clearly indicated the presence of three rear cameras on OnePlus 7 Pro. This tweet also indicated towards the fact that the regular variant of OnePlus 7 might still feature the dual camera setup just like its predecessor.

OnePlus 7 Expected Specifications, Features

The upcoming OnePlus 7 is rumored to feature a massive 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an added protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The device might run on the Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal memory.

In terms of optics, OnePlus 7 will boast a dual 48MP+5MP camera setup at the back. The 48MP primary sensor might use the pixel binning technology. The phone will retain night mode and an ability to record 4K videos at 60fps.

All of this would run on a 3700mAh battery with 20W fast charging and the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system.

OnePlus 7 Pro Expected Specifications, Features

The OnePlus 7, on the other hand, will come with some of the interesting set of features. The device will come with a much bigger 6.7-inch super AMOLED display having QHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The pro variant will feature the same processor and same storage configurations as the regular variant.

In terms of optics, the phone will have three rear cameras having 48MP + 16MP + 8MP sensors. At the front, there will be a 16MP selfie snapper.
