OnePlus 7 goes official in India with Snapdragon 855, 48MP camera and UFS 3.0

After announcing the higher-end OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone in India, OnePlus just launched the less fancy OnePlus 7. The device looks a bit similar to the previous-gen OnePlus 6T. The successor has the same processor, RAM boost and Warp charging.

The less expensive OnePlus 7 smartphone boasts 6.41-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a teardrop notch. Although the in-display fingerprint sensor is much faster than its predecessor. The smartphone runs on the Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. As expected, the storage is based on the new UFS 3.0 standard for higher performance.

In terms of optics, OnePlus 7 features a dual camera setup having a 48MP
Sony IMX586 sensor and a 16MP secondary sensor. On the front, there is a single 5MP selfie shooter. All of this is fueled by a 3,700mAh battery which supports Warp charging technology.

OnePlus 7 comes in two different storage variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB memory and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The smartphone comes in two different colour variants which include Mirror Gray and Red. The base variant will set you back INR 32,999 while the top-end variant is going to cost you INR 37,999.

Coming to the launch offers, OnePlus has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer bundling benefits worth INR 9,300. The offer includes instant cashback of Rs 5,400 on the first prepaid recharge of Rs 299. The likes of Zoomcar, EaseMyTrip and Chumbak are also bundling discounts on their products and services.
