Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 is a slight upgrade over GTX 1050, Benchmark scores suggests

After launching GeForce GTX 1660Ti and GeForce GTX 1660, Nvidia is all set to cap out its lineup by launching yet another budget graphic card dubbed GeForce GTX 1650. We’re expecting Nvidia to release this graphic card either by March end or by April End as various other leaks suggested.

In the development of the story, we now have the leaked benchmark scores of the upcoming Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphic card. This leaked benchmark from Final Fantasy XV suggests that GTX 1650 points to GTX 1050Ti in terms of performance level.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Benchmark Score Leaked, Performance Points to GTX 1050Ti

This leak is coming to the courtesy of a popular graphics card leaker on Twitter which goes by the name APISAK. As you can see on the tweet below, the upcoming GeForce GTX 1650 manages to score 3553 on its Final Fantasy XV benchmark. This is score is similar to the previous gen GTX 1050Ti.

The tweet also reveals that the test was taken at 2560×1440 pixels resolution and Lite quality settings. We’re not sure whether the score is for desktop version or mobile version of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. One thing which we’re pretty aware of is that the score indicates the “standard performance”. This means that there are no major improvements in gameplay between these two generations.

The benchmark scores should still be taken with the pinch of salt since there is a possibility that this benchmark is recorded internally at Nvidia. What this means is that the company might have used the pre-final build of this graphics card. In addition, we’re not aware about the specifications or drivers of the system on which the tests are taken.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Leaked Specifications, Price

Just like any other graphics card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 will also come in two variants – a laptop and a desktop version. Various leaks suggest that the GTX 1650 will consist of 1,395MHz base clock speed and a 1,560Mhz boost clock speed. Its CUDA core count could come in at 896, and the graphics card is rumored to leverage 4GB of virtual memory clocked at 2,000 MHZ.

Coming to the pricing, the GeForce GTX 1650 is rumored to be priced around USD 180 (roughly INR 12,450). This could be the company’s cheapest mid-range graphics card yet.
