Anxiety:Part of our Time-Table
Anxiety is what we know as a feeling of dread and pain. Worried thoughts and images repeatedly flood the brain for others. Well its all now a part of the modern head-to-toe busy society. Anxiety has occupied a section of our mind and thus making our brain quite bleeped** up. This is why anxiety has been addressed by Sigmund Freud as a disorder in 1926.
The Solution is a Magical Music
So??? What do we do? Start taking antidepressants or other drugs? Well meditation is one of the key and most prominent method which is recommended over drugs. But the “busy-life” part is totally true, that the life of the modern being is one heck of a school time-table. In which the recess time is quite insignificant(as usual). Now its been found that listening to certain music reduces anxiety upto certain levels. And the most effective of all is Weightless by Marconi Union. Have a look.
But a team of researchers at Mindlab International in the U.K. lead a research to know what kind of music induces the greatest state of relaxation. The study involved having participants try to solve difficult puzzles — which inherently triggered a certain degree of stress — while connected to sensors. At the same time, participants listened to a range of songs as researchers measured their brain activity, heart rate, blood pressure and rate of breathing.
Interestingly, they found a song which was specifically designed to induce this highly relaxed state. Created by Marconi Union, the musicians teamed up with sound therapists to carefully arrange harmonies, rhythms and bass lines, which in turn slow a listener’s heart rate and blood pressure, while also lowering stress hormones like cortisol.
In fact, the music is so effective, that many of the female participants became drowsy — to the point where lead researcher Dr. David Lewis-Hodgson advises against listening to it while driving.
It Really Works!!! Believe Me
I’ve listened to it my self and it freakin works!!! Well its usually said that seeing is believing but now I strongly suggest that listening does makes the believe stronger too. So listen to it its the featured video of this article.
