Lenovo has recently launched the Lenovo S5, Lenovo K5 and K5 Lite phones in its home country. The brand is trying to gain back its market in China. Lenovo’s VP Chang Cheng has just teased a new flagship smartphone on his Weibo account. This mysterious phone will have the highest screen-to-body ratio claims Cheng.
In the teaser, you’ll see half portion of the display clearly indicating that the device will have a FullScreen display. Looking at the display, this smartphone is not going to come with a notch. Lenovo removed the front camera, bezels and antenna bands to offer high screen-to-body ratio. This means that they can go with a flip-up camera just like the one we’ve seen in Vivo APEX.
Lenovo’s mysterious device to feature 95% screen-to-body ratio
The teasers show the device with a super slim bezel which looks stunning by the way. In his post, Chang asked the fans to guess the screen to body ratio of their upcoming smartphone. The options were:
80-84% screen ratio
85-89% screen ratio
90-94% screen ratio
95% and above
In fact, Lenovo’s VP claims that the smartphone will feature an all-time high 95% screen to body ratio. The device will be a truly full-screen smartphone with no side or upper bezels at all. Not even virtually. Even Vivo APEX which is a concept phone comes with 91% screen to body ratio. Essential phone and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S comes with 84.9 and 81.9 screen to body ratio respectively. As you can see, there are not many devices which comes with 95% ratio.
