Asus VivoBook S15 and ZenBook UX430 launched in India with a NanoEdge display

Asus unveiled ZenBook UX430 and VivoBook S15 today at an event in Delhi. Both the laptop comes with a NanoEdge display and powerful specifications.

Today, Asus launched two brand new laptops in the Indian market – VivoBook S15 and ZenBook UX430. Asus hosted a “Beyond the Edge” launch event in New Delhi where they unveiled these two laptops.

Both the laptops come with premium build quality and powerful specification without being expensive. The brand already has a good share of the market in the laptop category and this two laptops will give them more edge.

Asus VivoBook S15 comes with a NanoEdge display and 8th gen Intel processors.

Asus VivoBook S15 is the laptop which was earlier launched in America and is popularly known as MacBook alternative. The same laptop has finally arrived in the Indian market too. VivoBook S15 comes with a large 15.6-inch display with NanoEdge display and 7.8mm bezels. Dell XPS series and other high-end laptops also come packed with thin bezels and this time Asus did it too.

This laptop measures just 361 x 243.5 x 17.9mm and weighs 1.7 kg. The laptop has a gold finish which gives it more premium look. The laptop will arrive in two variants – one with Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core processor and the other with Intel Core i7-8550U quad-core processor. It features up to 16GB DDR4 memory and a Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphic card.

On top of that, you will get both 1TB HDD and 128GB SSD storage which is a great thing. Talking about battery life, the laptop will give you up to 8 hours of battery life. It also supports fast charging allowing you to charge 60 percent in just 49 minutes.

The laptop also has an integrated fingerprint sensor with Microsoft Hello support.

Asus ZenBook UX430 is the thinnest ZenBook ever manufactured by the brand. The laptop weighs just 1.25kg and 14-inch full HD IPS screen with 7.8mm NanoEdge display. With 300 nits of brightness and 100% color gamut, the laptop gives gorgeous color reproduction.

The laptop is powered by up to Intel 8th generation Core i7 processor with 16GB DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. This laptop also has the same Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphic card. With this laptop, you will be getting battery life up to 9 hours. Although, there is no word on fast charge support.

Pricing and Availability

Asus VivoBook S15

Enough about the specifications already. Let’s talk about the pricing and availability of both the new offerings by Asus. Asus VivoBook S15 will arrive in the market from October 1 and will be available in online as well as offline retailers. The laptop starts at the price tag of Rs. 39,990.

Asus ZenBook UX430, on the other hand, is already available on both online as well offline stores and retailers. This laptop is more expensive as compared to the VivoBook and it starts with the price tag of Rs. 74,990.
