Asus Vivobook S comes with NanoEdge Display, an Intel 7th-generation processor and starts at $699

Asus launched a new Vivobook S, the S510, which comes with Intel Core i7 seventh-generation processor, runs Windows 10 and looks familiar to Apple Macbook Air. The highlight feature of this Asus Vivobook S is the thin bezels which the company calls NanoEdge display.

NanoEdge display gives the laptop an impressive 80% screen to body ratio. According to the Asus, the Asus Vivobook S is able to fit a full-size 15.6-inch display into a 14-inch laptop frame. Asus claims that the battery on the laptop can be charged up to 60 percent of its capacity in just 49 minutes.

  • Either Intel Core i7-7500U or i7-7200U processor (depending on model)
  • 8GB of RAM
  • Ports: USB-C, USB Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI, headphone jack
  • Up to 1TB of storage (depending on model)
  • Windows 10 Home
  • Included SD card reader

The laptop starts at $699 while for better processor and storage, you will have to shell out up to $799. Asus Vivobook S is only available in US for now. It’s available through Asus’ online store, ABT, B&H, Computer Upgrade King, and Newegg.
